About Su Guventeddu

2.3 kilometers south-east of Pula, in the locality of Nora, you’ll find the cozy beach of Su Guventeddu (Spiaggia di Su Guventeddu). It has a length of over 600 meters and can get up to 30 meters wide. Facing south-east, the beach offers beautiful views of the islet of San Macario to the north. To the south, you can spot il Torre del Coltellazzo di Nora, near the Nora Archaeological Site, and the small island named Isola del Coltellazzo. This beach has fine sands, and you’ll hardly find any rocks here. Spiaggia di Su Guventeddu is characterized by calm and shallow waters, making it an ideal for families with children. The beach is also accessible to the disabled and has several facilities. You can rent beach umbrellas, deck chairs and pedal boats. Su Guventeddu is also very popular with surfers and those who’d like to practice other water sports, such as kayaking.

From Cagliari, Su Guventeddu can be reached by taking the Strada Statale 195 Sulcitana in the direction of Capoterra. It shouldn’t be more than a 40-minute drive.

Walk a few hundred meters south-west from Spiaggia di Su Guventeddu, and the beach changes into Fichi beach (Spiaggia dei Fichi). The beach is situated in the middle of a 1.3 kilometer long stretch of white sand that extends all the way to Nora beach. Named after the many fig trees that grow in this area, Fichi has a length of over 400 meters and faces south-east, featuring beautiful views of the islet of San Macario to the north and il Torre del Coltellazzo di Nora to the south.
