About Cala di Budoni

Cala di Budoni can be found in front of the village of Budoni, 8 kilometers south of San Teodoro, Olbia-Tempio. It’s the largest beach in this area, and one of the last large beaches you’ll find near the border that separates Olbia-Tempio and Nuoro. Cala di Budoni faces north-east, and has a length of nearly 4 kilometers. Its surrounding landscapes feature small dunes, a few ponds (Stagno Morto and Stagna di Santa Ana), and pine forests that offer some shade on hot summer days. Cala di Budoni is a popular windsurfing, scuba diving and snorkelling spot. It’s a friendly beach for families with children, as its waters are mostly shallow. Many services can be found in the nearby area: restaurants, shops, hotels, and campings.
