About Pittulongu Beach
The Pittulongu beach area (Lido di Pittulongu) is just 8 kilometers away from Olbia, and consists of 4 beaches spanning approximately 1.3 kilometers: La Playa, Squalo, Pellicano and Mare e Rocce. The largest beach is about 800 meters long. All beaches offer a beautiful view of Tavolara Island (Isola Tavolara) that lies just south-east of Pittulongu beach. Ferry boats can be seen entering the harbour of Olbia throughout the day.
Directions to Pittulongu Beach
From Golfo Aranci: head south via the SP 82 towards Pittulongu.
From Olbia: take the SP 82 towards Golfo Aranci. After approximately 5 kilometers, near Hotel Stefania, turn right on the road that will take you to the beach.

- Length: 1400 meters.

Le Vecchie Saline beach is located near the city of Olbia, just 5 kilometers east of the Costa Smeralda airport and a few kilometers from Maria Murta.
- Length: 500 meters.
- Things to do: snorkelling, kayaking.
Cala Banana beach is 500 meters long, and its sands vary from pure white to gray. It is one of the most picturesque beaches between Golfo Aranci and Olbia.
- Length: 270 meters.
- Things to do: snorkelling, scuba diving, kitesurfing.
10 kilometers away from Olbia, lies Bados beach. This small beach displays the classic Costa Smeralda features: sugary white sands and a palette of gorgeous water colors.
