About Spiaggia della Speranza
La Speranza beach (Spiaggia della Speranza, officially named “Porto Poglina”) is located in north-west Sardinia, just 8 kilometers south of Alghero village, and 9 kilometers west of Villanova Monteleone. It is easily accessible by car via the SP 105 coming from Bosa, a very scenic route along the marvelous coastline. La Speranza beach is one of the best beaches of the Alghero area, and one of the quietest. La Speranza beach is rather narrow, with fine golden sands, some pebbly patches and some rocky parts, stretching out over half a kilometer. This beach is a popular surfing spot on windy days. Its waters are shallow, making it suitable for families with small children. Restaurant “La Speranza” offers fresh seafood for lunch.
How To Get To Spiaggia della Speranza
From Oristano, take the SS 292 to Bosa. After entering the village, turn left before the bridge and take the SP 49 to Alghero. This scenic coastal road will turn into the SP 105, leading to La Speranza.
