About Spiaggia del Lazzaretto
Lazzaretto beach (Spiaggia del Lazzaretto) is located north-west of Alghero, near the villages of Fertilia and Lido San Giovanni, and close to Spiaggia delle Bombarde.
This coastal area, called Riviera del Corallo, offers several coves nearby, the closest one is located just north-east towards Fertilia and can be reached by walking for 200 meters along a footpath.
Spiaggia del Lazzaretto faces south-east, with beautiful views of Alghero in the distance and Torre del Lazzaretto to the right – an ancient tower that was built with local limestone around 1580. The beach has a wide range of services and facilities. If you’re on holiday in the Alghero area, this beach shouldn’t be missed.
