About Spiaggia di Piscinas

Piscinas beach (Spiaggia di Piscinas), situated approximately 4 kilometers north of Scivu beach, near the historically rich town of Piscinas, lies in the south-west of Sardinia, along the famous Costa Verde coastline. Piscinas is uniquely surrounded by sand dunes formed by the natural forces of the Mistral (Bentu Maestru). In this Sardinian desert, junipers, rare flowers, beach grass and wild olive trees grow. The dunes can be up to 60 metres tall and can reach into the Sardinian mainlands for more than 1 kilometer. Not far away from the shore lies the wreck of an ancient lead vessel that is a perfect scuba diving attraction.

How To Get To Spiaggia di Piscinas

Piscinas beach can be reached via the SS 126, from either North or South directions. Watch your fuel! The closest gas stations are located in Arbus and Guspini. Take the Ingurtosu exit (indicated below) and follow the dirt track for about 9 kilometers. Take a left towards Spiaggia della Piscinas, and after about 20 minutes, you'll reach the beach.
