About Cala Banana
Cala Banana beach (Spiaggia di Cala Banana) is located in the area of Nodu Pianu, just a few kilometers north-east of Olbia, and 5 kilometers south-west of Golfo Aranci. Together with Pittulongu beach and Bados beach, Cala Banana is definitely worth a visit if you’re driving up north to the direction of Golfo Aranci. Cala Banana is about 500 meters long, and its sands vary from pure white to gray, with small pebbles scattered across the beach. There is a small kiosk in the area, and rafts and canoes are available for rent. Cala Banana is a good spot for snorkelling. Parking is free.
How To Get To Cala Banana
From Olbia, head north along the SP 82, and once you've passed the Lido di Pittulongu, about 500 meters after a curve you will find a junction with a sign for Nodu Pianu. Take the exit and go straight to the next junction, then head left. Proceed straight to the end of the road, and park your car. Follow the small dirt track on the right that leads to the beach.
